Duo Kaos is an Italian–Guatemalan contemporary circus company, founded in 2009 through the collaboration of multifaceted artists Giulia Arcangeli and Luis Paredes. Based in Italy’s Marche region, the company merges circus techniques, choreographic exploration, symbolic stage elements, and original music and sound into a compelling poetic language. Balancing tradition and experimentation, spontaneity and refinement, its productions create visionary landscapes where bodies and objects together propel imaginative journeys that fully immerse the audience.
Since 2016, Duo Kaos has gained international recognition, notably for the show Time to Loop, which has exceeded 300 performances and has been featured in international festivals such as Le Channel in Calais, The Waves Festival (Denmark), SON (Costa Rica), FIC (Mexico), Humor Notes (France), Escher Street Festival (Luxembourg), Outside Ordinary (Netherlands), and Wonderpuck (Romania).

In 2020, the company was awarded the “BRANDS TURNS ON” production grant, supporting emerging Marche-based artists exploring contemporary languages in theater and dance. The latest creation, HORIZONTE, co-produced with Marche Teatro, premiered in 2021 at Teatro delle Muse in Ancona during the Inteatro Festival.

In 2022, a new multidisciplinary production, FLORA, was launched in co-production with Bluecinque/Nice, a contemporary circus production center.

In 2020 wins the production announcement “BRANDS TURNS ON”, dedicated to the enhancement and support of young Marche artists who focus their creative research around the languages and themes of contemporaneity in the areas of theater and dance. Thus their latest creation was born HORIZONTE, a multidisciplinary show made in co-production with MARCHE THEATER, which debuted in 2021 at the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona in the context of the historic international showcase In teatro Festival.

ln 2022, a new creation came into being, FLORA, in co production with Bluecinque/Nice, the production center of contemporary circus.
